VoIPMDU.COM Firms up Details of Canada's Biggest Poker Challenge: The Canadian Championship Poker Tournament

VANCOUVER, BC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 11/09/2005 -- VoIPMDU.COM (OTC: VPMD) today announced further details of the upcoming 2006 Canadian Open Poker Championships, which were initially announced on September 1st, 2005, "....VoIPMDU.COM Acquires Rights To Major Canadian Championship Poker Tournament...."

Since that time, tournament dates and times have been confirmed with the Championship Weekend commencing March 11th and 12th, 2006 at the Stampede Casino on the Stampede Grounds in Calgary, Alberta. The winner of the Tournament will take home a $ 250,000 guaranteed first place prize, the largest poker prize to be awarded in Canada. The Canadian Open Poker Championship is the only “Heads Up” format tournament to be held in the country.

During January and February 2006, players will qualify in several Canadian cities prior to the Championship Weekend. The massive event will take on an atmosphere of a major international poker tournament with a unique, country and western flavor under the theme, “So you think you’re good!” The events during the previous week will be broadcast as the “Final Eight” players emerge for the two-day championship challenge.
